Due to promotion The Howard School is seeking to appoint an innovative, forward thinking and exceptional teacher of Science who is committed to excellence from Easter 2019.
This post would suit an experienced teacher or an NQT with good prospects for career development. The successful applicant would teach KS3 to KS5. The ability to deliver Chemistry to A Level is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to contribute to the development of our thriving Science Department and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement.
The Science Department is a busy and cohesive department who work together to achieve the best for students and we are looking for a member of staff to play an active role in raising the profile of the Science Department. This supportive environment is reflected across the school.
As a school our academic results are exceptional. The Howard School regularly achieves very high rates of students gaining 5 A* - C grades including English and Mathematics at GCSE, and our excellent Progress 8 score from last year for all groups of students demonstrates our commitment to each and every one of our learners.
