A Level Results 2019

Congratulations to our Year 13 class of 2019!

The Howard Sixth Form celebrated another successful A-Level results day.

Students were rewarded for their hard work and dedication over the past two years, with a set of results that matches our best ever.

The average overall grade is a C, with the new rigorous applied general qualifications an average of Merit+.

Some outstanding individual performances include:

Aidan Hornsby who attained Philosophy A, Film Studies B, English B. He is going on to read English and Film at Exeter University.

Liam Howlett who attained an A* Finance, Business Studies B and Maths C. He has secured employment in the Finance sector.

Jack Nicholson secured Finance A, English B and Business Studies B. He has secured employment with a banking institution.

Head Girl Leah-Marie Baker attained Double Distinction in Performing Art, Distinction in Forensics and C for her Extended Project Qualification. She pursues Childhood Studies at Kent.

Head Boy Matthew Nadeem travels to Nottingham to pursue his studies of Medicine.

Nathan Collins: who attained B,B,B in Philosophy, Film Studies and English. He will study Business and Marketing at Leicester.

As always, our thanks go to parents and carers who have supported the school and to teachers who work tirelessly with students to achieve their potential.

We wish all our student the very best of luck with their next steps, including university, apprenticeships and employment.
